Agricultural producers in Rostov region will start spring sowing a week earlier due to the weather. It is planned to sow 1.9 million hectares and increase the area of seed plantings for row crops. 88% of fertilizers and 105 thousand tons of seeds are stockpiled.

Expected strong cooling is expected in the southern regions of the European part of Russia, in the Volga region, and in the Urals. The temperature in some areas will be 6-9 degrees below normal, reaching minus 15 to minus 29 degrees. In some places, there is no threat to crops.
