Russia increased its exports of mineral products and metals in 2024, while the export of agricultural products decreased. The total export amounted to 433.9 billion dollars, with imports at 283 billion. Asia became Russia's main partner. The export of agricultural products remained at the same level as in 2023, despite the instability of global prices.

In the State Duma, a law was adopted to reduce the notification period for beekeepers about the use of pesticides from 10 days to 1 day.

The company "Mycopro" has developed a safe bioinsecticide that protects crops without harming bees. The new product is planned to start production in 2025.
