According to the Reuters report, the Rosario Grain Exchange (BCR) reports that recent significant rainfall in Argentina will continue in the coming days, positively impacting the development of soybean and corn crops in the country.
According to latest data, over the past few days, more than 100 millimeters of rainfall has been recorded in the country's agricultural regions, which will help restore the crops after a period of drought observed at the end of January and beginning of February.
BCR analysts' preliminary estimates for soybean and corn harvests in Argentina for 2024/25 MY have been revised downwards due to dry conditions and high temperatures during the summer. It is expected that the soybean harvest will reach 47.5 million tons and the corn harvest will be 46 million tons.
