Western agricultural machinery manufacturers are preparing to return to the Russian market, experts predict.

Production of commercial milk in Russia is expected to reach 26.3 million tons by 2025. Forecasts for the current year are conservative, showing a slight growth. By 2030, production could increase to 31.3 million tons.

Exports are expected to increase by 44%, while imports are projected to decrease by 18%.

In the Ministry of Agriculture of the region, the goals for 2025 were discussed. Increase in the production of bee packages to protect the local market from uncontrolled imports was set during the speech of Deputy Prime Minister Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. Mr. Fazrakhmanov also outlined the expansion of support for local producers.

Within the "Forest Conservation" project initiated by the President of Russia, work is being carried out to assess the condition of the forests, identify and eliminate pest outbreaks, conduct biotechnical measures, sanitary felling, and wood clearing.

Plans for this year include: work on 35 hectares, with 4.7 hectares for felling and 30.3 hectares for wood clearing, as well as biotechnical measures on 3.2 thousand hectares.

In the Voronezh region, a modern dairy complex for 3600 cows is actively being built. Half of the work has been completed, and the launch is planned for December 2025. The Chairman of the Agricultural Machinery Dealers Association believes that some Western manufacturers may return to the Russian market. John Deere and AGCO have temporarily stopped supplying, but small companies are already active. Trading centers offer local partnerships to re-enter the market.

Vietnam has removed field bindweed from quarantine objects after inspections by the Rosselkhoznadzor. Previously, its presence required additional expenses for Russian exporters. This will allow for an increase in grain exports to Vietnam.

The model was developed by the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Volga Research Institute of Irrigated Agriculture" and LLC "Osanna". The machine effectively waters crops, reducing water losses. Energy savings amount to 2.5-3 times. It also has the ability for remote control and is significantly cheaper than foreign analogues.

Fishermen have decided to lower prices for red caviar before Maslenitsa and International Women's Day. In the Russian Far East, prices for pink salmon caviar start at 4,500 rubles per kilogram, which is 1.5 times cheaper than in December 2024.

Fishermen are ready to meet the demand, and a decrease in prices is expected. Caviar production has decreased by 2.5 times compared to 2023.

According to FranceAgriMer, 73% of soft wheat sowings in France are in good condition, exceeding the level four years ago. Farmers in the Orenburg region will start working in the fields earlier due to the warm snowless winter. The sowing area for the year 2025 has been increased, with cereals and oilseeds occupying a large part of it.

The harvest of 2024 covered an area of 4.4 million hectares. Approximately 90% of winter crops are normal.
