LLC "Demetra-Holding", which includes "Novorossiysk Grain Terminal", intends to complete the implementation of the "Auto1500" project in the fourth quarter of 2025. This project will increase the volume of grain transshipment from trucks by 1.5 million tons per year, according to RBC Krasnodar, citing the company's press service.
The response to the editorial request indicates that thanks to the "Auto1500" project, the volume of grain transshipment from truck to sea transport will increase by 1.5 million tons per year. The new production capacities will start operating fully in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Within the project, which began in August 2023, six silos have already been built, capable of holding 70 thousand tons of grain. The installation of the truck receiving line, conveyor lines to the new silos, power substation, and ship loading machine is also nearing completion.
In the plans of the "Novorossiysk Grain Terminal" for 2026, there is an increase in the transshipment of agricultural goods to 11 million tons per year. This figure will be achieved by introducing additional capacities for receiving goods from truck and railway transport. The company also plans to extend the piers and build new docks.
LLC "Novorossiysk Grain Terminal" was established in 2006 in Novorossiysk. The company is engaged in auxiliary activities related to transportation. In 2024, the "Novorossiysk Grain Terminal" transshipped 7.2 million tons of agricultural goods. This figure exceeds the transshipment volume of 2023 by 614 thousand tons or 9%.
