The Eurasian Economic Commission on March 24 approved a recommendation on the prospects for cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union and the countries of Southeast Asia in the field of agriculture and food products.
A comprehensive analysis conducted by the Eurasian Economic Commission has shown that the key products through which the member states of the EAEU can most easily access the markets of Southeast Asian countries are meat and meat products, dairy products, grain, as well as fats and oils.
The Minister of Industry and Agro-Industrial Complex of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Goar Barseghyan, noted that the adopted recommendation will allow member states to assess the opportunities for diversifying the export of agricultural products based on the existing demand.
