According to the report of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Agroexport", in the first six months of the current year 2025, Russia exported over 17.5 thousand tons of turkey meat abroad, bringing the country more than 50 million dollars. This figure exceeds by a third the data for the same period last year, as reported by specialists from the center.
It is important to note that a significant portion of the exported products of this kind abroad comes from the Republic of Bashkortostan.
A company named "SoyuzPromPtitsa", based in Meleuzovsky district, is the largest producer of turkey meat in the country and is actively involved in exporting semi-finished products made from this type of meat.
According to the Administration of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the region, over the past six months, veterinary supervision staff at the state border of the Russian Federation and within the framework of transportation checks have inspected and registered 15 batches of frozen semi-finished turkey products with a total weight of 405 tons, sent from this region to Africa. In particular, 135 tons were sent to Benin, and 10 batches totaling 270 tons were sent to the Republic of Guinea and Congo.
In 2025, Russia began supplying turkey to the Central African Republic and Singapore for the first time. In addition, export operations to Ghana were resumed from 2022 and to India from 2023, according to the publication "Agroexport".
Let us remind you that within the framework of the national project "International Cooperation and Export", the goal of which is to increase the volumes of exported agricultural products beyond the country, the regional program "Export of Agricultural Products to the Republic of Bashkortostan" is being implemented in Bashkortostan.
