During the inspection of export batches of products, the inspectors of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) carried out a mandatory inspection with sampling for analysis of the phytosanitary condition at the accredited laboratory of the Kaluga branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "VNIIIZH" under the supervision of Rosselkhoznadzor. The results of the laboratory tests confirmed the absence of quarantine objects in the products intended for export.
After receiving phytosanitary certificates, the products were sent to customers. Mostly, chanterelles from the Kaluga region are supplied to European countries.
Chanterelles (Cantharellus cibarius) are valued for their unique taste, aroma, and, importantly, for their medicinal properties.
Chanterelles are one of the rare plant sources of vitamin D (ergosterol, which is converted to D2 under the influence of sunlight/UV rays). Vitamin D is crucial for bone health, immunity, mental well-being, and metabolism.
Chanterelles contain B-group vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9) necessary for energy metabolism, nervous system health, skin, hair, nails, DNA synthesis, and immune support.
Beta-carotene (provitamin A), which gives chanterelles their orange color, is a powerful antioxidant that protects cells from damage, essential for vision, immunity, and skin health. Trametenolic acid, found in chanterelles, may inhibit the growth of cancer cells (especially in leukemia) and contribute to the suppression of the hepatitis C virus.
Chanterelles are a dietary product (approximately 38 calories per 100 g raw), rich in protein and fiber, which promotes a feeling of fullness and is beneficial for weight control.
