Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that negotiations are underway at the highest level involving the foreign ministers of three countries for the supply of Russian grain to Turkey and Qatar. This information was reported by the TASS news agency.
It is noted that the main goal of Russian President Vladimir Putin is the development of a grain corridor with African countries. "We have reached an agreement, and now telephone diplomacy has begun. We are collaborating with our foreign ministers and striving to develop this process in the most optimal way with African countries. A huge share of the grain passing through this corridor is directed to European countries - 44%. 14% goes to us, 14% to Africa, and the rest is sent to various countries," said the President of Turkey.
