In the Tula region, targeted support for farmers continues. Part of the expenses for diesel fuel is compensated to them from state financial resources. Last year, 70 million rubles were allocated for this, and this year already 100 million. In total, over 2 billion rubles are allocated annually to support agriculture and the agro-industrial complex in the region from various sources.
"At the moment, about 20 investment projects in the agricultural sector with a total value of about 80 billion rubles have been developed in our region. These enterprises are not only engaged in agriculture but also process agricultural products and produce food products," noted Alexey Styopin, Minister of Agriculture of the Tula region.
In the Plavsky district, the harvesting campaign continues, as in the entire region. By now, more than 30 thousand tons of grain have already been threshed.
"More than 32 thousand tons of grain have already been harvested, including 21 thousand tons of winter wheat, over 2.5 thousand tons of barley, and almost 10 thousand tons of peas," said Andrey Garifzyanov, head of the Plavskiy district administration.

As a result, the Tula region took the third place in the Central Federal District and the seventh place in Russia in terms of rapeseed productivity, as well as the second place in the country in terms of potato yield. In addition, the region's enterprises last year produced more than 200 thousand tons of meat and dairy products, almost 860 million eggs, and 205 thousand tons of milk.
