According to the latest data from the State Customs Service, as of the current date of August 16 in the current agricultural season 2024/25, Ukraine exported 5.529 million tons of cereals and leguminous crops. Out of this total volume, 1.827 million tons were shipped in the current month, according to the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Comparing with the same date of the previous year, the total volume of shipments amounted to 3.299 million tons, including 1.025 million tons shipped in August.
The following list represents export volumes by different crops starting from the current season:
- the export volume of wheat amounted to 2.608 million tons (compared to 1.328 million tons in the previous 2023/24 agricultural season);
- the export volume of barley was 640 thousand tons (compared to 397 thousand tons in the previous season);
- the export volume of rye was 0.3 thousand tons (compared to 0.6 thousand tons in the previous season);
- the export volume of corn was 2.061 million tons (compared to 1.568 million tons in the previous season).
In total, it is estimated that the export volume of Ukrainian flour from the beginning of the current season until August 16 amounted to 7.3 thousand tons (compared to 15.8 thousand tons in the previous season), where wheat flour accounts for 6.6 thousand tons (compared to 15.2 thousand tons in the previous season).
