More than 248 thousand hectares of winter crops have been prepared in Bashkortostan for the 2025 harvest, despite unfavorable agrometeorological conditions.

In Bashkortostan, 248.2 thousand hectares of winter crops are ready for sowing for the 2025 harvest, including 195.3 thousand hectares of wheat and 48.3 thousand hectares of rye. Unfavorable agrometeorological conditions threatened the sowing, but 91% of the crops are in good condition.

It is planned to sow 2.8 million hectares with spring crops.

In Bashkortostan, 248.2 thousand hectares of winter crops have been prepared for sowing for the 2025 harvest. Of these, 195.3 thousand hectares are sown with wheat, and 48.3 thousand hectares with rye. According to information from the regional Ministry of Agriculture, agrometeorological conditions were unfavorable, frequent thaws posed a threat to the crops.

As a result of surveys conducted by the end of February, 91% of winter crops are in good and satisfactory condition, while 9% are noted to be in poor condition, but plant deaths are not observed. Regular monitoring of the crops' condition is carried out to assess their viability and plan spring care work.

Companies and individuals are planning to sow 2.8 million hectares with spring crops in the republic in 2025.
