The volumes of sunflower seed stocks in Kazakhstan have increased by 34%, while reserves of other oilseeds have decreased.

The volume of sunflower seed stocks in Kazakhstan as of July 1 of the current year amounted to 581 thousand tons, which is 34% more than the previous year.

However, stocks of other oilseeds have decreased: flaxseed - to 229 thousand tons, rapeseed - to 50 thousand tons, soybeans - to 24 thousand tons, safflower - to 27 thousand tons.

According to official statistics, the volume of sunflower seed stocks in Kazakhstan reached 581 thousand tons as of July 1 of the current year, exceeding last year's data (434 thousand tons) by almost 34%.

At the same time, reserves of other oilseeds decreased.

For example, flaxseed stocks decreased to 229 thousand tons (compared to 356 thousand tons on July 1 of the previous year).

Only 50 thousand tons of rapeseed remained at Kazakhstan's disposal (compared to 125 thousand tons the previous year), soybeans - 24 thousand tons (compared to 44 thousand tons), and safflower stocks decreased to 27 thousand tons (compared to 111 thousand tons).
