For the week of January 23-29, the volume of wheat shipped from the Port of Rouen decreased from 11.4 to 9.5 thousand tons. There has been a decrease in shipments since the beginning of the month.

The total volume of grain shipments by sea from Haropa in 2024 decreased by 4% to 7.08 million tons compared to 2023.

Looking at the data provided by the port operator Haropa, it can be noted that for the period from January 23 to 29, the volume of shipped food wheat from the French port of Rouen amounted to 9.5 thousand tons, which is a decrease compared to the previous week when the volume was 11.4 thousand tons.

This decrease in shipment volumes has been observed since the beginning of the current month.

Overall, in 2024, the total volume of grain maritime transportation by the port operator Haropa through the ports of Le Havre, Rouen, and Paris decreased by 4% compared to 2023, amounting to 7.08 million tons of grain. It is worth noting that the first half of 2024 was "very successful" due to the high level of wheat stocks from the 2023 harvest.
