Lipetsk farmers have already received almost 2 billion rubles of state support this year. Deputy Governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Kremnev, informed about this at the weekly meeting in the regional government, presenting a report on support for producers to Governor Igor Artamonov.
At the moment, the region's farmers have already received subsidies for grain production and sales, for growing vegetables in greenhouses, for reclamation works, and for interest payments on investment loans in the amount of over 65% of the established limit for the "unified combined" subsidy. Municipal entities have also been allocated funds for the implementation of projects for comprehensive development of rural areas.
The regional leader emphasized the importance of special control to ensure that the support measures are delivered to farms that suffered from frosts in May and incurred crop losses. The most serious losses were recorded among fruit and berry farmers. According to Kremnev, the total damage in these farms amounted to almost 500 million rubles. This information was conveyed to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
During the meeting, it was noted that all crops affected by the frosts have been replanted, sowing is complete, and preparations for the harvest are underway.
The Governor noted that farmers have all the necessary resources, and state support measures have set a record - over 4 billion rubles from the regional and federal budgets have been allocated as of today, by the end of the year, the volume of state aid will exceed 4.5 billion rubles.
