Company "Molvect" has chosen a location for the construction of a plant for deep processing of milk - the production will be located in the Kalacheyevsky district of the Voronezh region, where a whey processing plant was launched in 2019. According to the information from the publication "Kommersant-Chernozemye", the founder of the holding, Arkadiy Ponomarev, shared this news. He noted that the chosen territory is already equipped with the necessary resources for expanding production. "We have already placed an order for production equipment, the production process will take approximately a year, during this time we plan to develop the project and prepare the site for construction. We aim to complete the project within 2-2.5 years," explained Ponomarev, noting that other aspects of the project remain unchanged.
In August of last year, the government of the Voronezh region announced the intention of the company "Molvect" to build a plant for deep processing of milk. The planned daily processing capacity will be 1.2 thousand tons of raw materials, with estimated investments of 6.5 billion rubles. At that time, existing locations for the project included a plant in Voronezh or a plot in the "Maslovsky" industrial park near Voronezh. The construction period was planned for three years. The plant is expected to produce concentrates of whey and milk proteins, as well as permeate (a powder obtained by extracting proteins from whey using an ultrafiltration method) or lactose.
Thanks to the new plant and the two lines of an already operating similar production in the Kalacheyevsky district of the Voronezh region, "Molvect" plans to meet about 60% of the demand for this product in the country and partially replace imports. In addition, there are plans to export products abroad: currently, according to the publication "Agroinvestor", "Molvect" already supplies its products to North Africa, China, and Arab countries.
Company "Molvect" entered the market of dairy ingredients in 2020 with the launch of production of whey protein concentrate, dry demineralized whey, and dry permeate. In January of last year, the agro-holding launched a site for deep milk processing to produce 85% milk protein concentrate in the city of Kalachey in the Voronezh region. Investments in this project amounted to about 2 billion rubles. The annual capacity of the plant is 2.5 thousand tons. This production is unique in Russia.
