In the next year, Yaroslavl farmers will receive a subsidy from the regional and federal budgets amounting to 1350 rubles for each ton of sold grain produced on their own fields. This amount is 50 rubles less than last year and was set by the regional Ministry of Agriculture order dated February 28.
In 2024, the subsidy was 1400 rubles per ton, but this rate was reduced due to a successful harvest last year.
"The subsidy rate is calculated based on the volume of grain sold during the second half of the previous year and the beginning of the current year. The volume of grain sales for this period was higher than the previous year, but the total amount of federal subsidy remained the same. Therefore, the rate was recalculated," the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Consumer Market reported.
According to the data from Yaroslavlstat, in 2024, agricultural organizations in the region increased grain sales by 72.3% compared to 2023. The total volume of grain production amounted to 43.2 thousand tons.
