A meeting between the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Sergey Levin, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Vietnam to the Russian Federation, Mr. Dang Minh Khoi, took place at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
Every year, the trade of agricultural products and food between Russia and Vietnam is growing. Exports increased by 32% in 2023, with the main exported goods being grain, seafood, and pork.
The Deputy Minister noted that there is great potential for the export of agricultural products from Russia to Vietnam, and the Russian Federation is interested in significantly increasing the supplies. By 2030, deliveries could increase by more than 4 times, especially due to the growth in exports of grain, pork, and fish products.
Russia has obtained permission to supply all types of agricultural products to Vietnam. At the same time, work continues on expanding the list of exporting companies in the markets of both countries.
