The condition of corn and soybean crops in the United States has significantly improved last week due to favorable weather conditions. However, half of the farmers are still concerned about the upcoming harvest, especially regarding corn.
Observations have shown that the harvest in the Dakota and Minnesota regions has been severely damaged due to excessive moisture and cold temperatures, while Ohio and the southeastern part of Illinois have been suffering from drought. Despite the expected precipitation this week in the belt, the persisting coolness in the northwest will slightly reduce the prospects.
