The regional branch of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) reported that rapeseed oil extraction plants in Bashkortostan exported 5.5 thousand tons of rapeseed oil during the first seven months of 2024.
The main importer of rapeseed processing products into vegetable oil turned out to be the People's Republic of China, where this product is in high demand as it is the richest source of polyunsaturated fatty acids.
All 257 batches of vegetable oil with a total weight of 5.447 thousand tons, which were sent to China, were inspected by the Rosselkhoznadzor branch in Bashkortostan. The selected samples of the quarantined products underwent laboratory tests and did not reveal any harmful quarantine organisms. Rapeseed oil from Bashkortostan meets China's requirements, and 257 phytosanitary certificates were issued for the products.
As a reminder, within the national project "International Cooperation and Export," which is being implemented as part of the national goal "Decent and Effective Labor and Successful Entrepreneurship," it is planned to achieve a real increase in the export of non-raw non-energy goods by at least 70 percent by 2030 compared to 2020, according to reports from Bashinform.
