In the Voronezh region, in the special economic zone of industrial production type "Center", the company "Global Beverages", which is part of the group "Global Functional Drinks Rus", has launched an advanced production complex for the production of non-alcoholic beverages. The total investment in the project exceeded 10 billion rubles. The plant's annual production capacity reaches 800 million units of products. The factory was built entirely using Russian funds, without the involvement of foreign capital.
Thanks to modern technologies and a high level of production automation, one line can be serviced by no more than five employees per shift. However, the opening of the enterprise contributed to the creation of over 450 new jobs in the region, where direct involvement of specialists is required.
The products of the plant will be supplied both to the domestic market of Russia and exported to countries near and far abroad. Vladimir Kochetov, the general director of the company "Global Beverages", notes that the opening of such an enterprise is a symbol of import substitution and emphasizes Russia's ability to independently meet the needs in this industry by applying advanced technologies and increasing export potential.
The company "Global Beverages" became a resident of the special economic zone "Center" in January 2022. According to Alexey Ilyin, the CEO of "Global Functional Drinks Rus", the choice of this zone is due to its advantageous geographical location, which provides access to logistics routes, a wide choice of raw material suppliers, and buyers of finished products. In addition, the company has started the construction of its own large automotive transport enterprise (ATE) to ensure continuous operation of the plant. Currently, the company's fleet includes 430 vehicles with refrigerated and isothermal semi-trailers.
