According to the information from IA "APK-Inform," this week in Ukraine there is an increase in the cost of feed corn.
Significant interest from export-oriented companies, growth in export activity, and a shortage of offers from agricultural producers continue to support prices. Concerns of the majority of market participants regarding a decrease in yields compared to last year also influence further price growth. However, progress in harvesting late crops limits a more active increase in corn prices at the moment.
Currently, the demand for feed corn is noted within the range of 7500-8600 UAH/ton EXW, which is 200-300 UAH/ton, and in rare cases up to 400 UAH/ton higher than at the beginning of the week.
