In the Ukrainian sunflower market, there has been price instability due to fluctuations in demand. Prices ranged from 26,000 to 26,800 UAH/ton, while for high oil content products, buyers were willing to pay up to 27,300 UAH. Trading activity has slowed down due to price instability and an excess of supplies among major market players.

The Minister of Agriculture of Russia, Oksana Lut, emphasized the importance of increasing productivity in the agricultural sector. Agricultural plots require manual labor that cannot be automated.
