Farmers of the Tyumen region have harvested a significant crop of grain, peas, potatoes, and vegetables. On 66,689 hectares, 169,542 tons of grain were threshed and 10,600 tons of potatoes were harvested.

The vegetable yield also pleased: 2.9 thousand tons of cabbage, 1.6 thousand tons of beets, and 451 tons of carrots were harvested.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia will not extend the ban on the export of rapeseed seeds. It is planned to introduce an export duty on rapeseed until 2026 (30% of the value or not less than 165 euros per ton). Also, duties on sunflower seeds (50%) and soybeans (20%) are supported.

Agrarians of the Terek district of Kabardino-Balkaria have started harvesting a record area of ​​corn planting - more than 128,000 hectares in 4 districts. This represents over 70% of the total corn area in the region.

Kabardino-Balkaria leads in maize grain production in the North Caucasus Federal District, producing 1.05 million tons.

Export of plant meals from Russia in July 2024 increased by 44% to 507 thousand tons. Deliveries to China sharply increased, while export of rapeseed meal decreased. The European Union introduced higher tariffs on products from Russia and Belarus.

Flaxseed oil export from the Rostov region to China increased by 900% in the first half of this year, reaching 4.7 thousand tons. The total volume of agricultural exports is planned to increase to 5.3 billion dollars by 2024.

The Rostov region also plans to increase agricultural exports to China.

In 2024, the export of the Trans-Baikal agro-industrial complex exceeded 90,000 tons. The governor instructed to increase shipments abroad. Grain crops, food industry, and oilseeds make the main contribution. China is the main buyer. Export growth is observed every year.

In the Ryazan region, 85% of grain fields have already been harvested, with 2.2 million tons of grain collected at a yield of 38.2 c/ha. Saraevsky district is leading in grain collection, while Putyatsky district leads in yield. Farmers are also harvesting rapeseed, potatoes, vegetables, and preparing feed. Some are already sowing winter crops for the next year. Agricultural workers are continuing the harvest and preparing feed for the winter.

More than 1,600 tons of fodder wheat has been exported from the Nizhny Novgorod region to the Yaroslavl and Vologda regions by rivers. The products have been inspected to comply with quarantine requirements.

The Oka and Volga rivers have the potential for future deliveries.

On the domestic market, last week there was an increase in demand for rapeseed, stimulating supply. Export companies received favorable prices due to the price restrictions on rapeseed oil for processors. Purchase prices for processors ranged from 20000-21500 UAH/ton, while exporters offered around 20400-20500 UAH/ton.

The Grain Exporters Association of Brazil plans to export 2.38 million tons of soybean meal in August, exceeding the forecast by 140 thousand tons.

Soybean exports may decrease to 7.5-8.85 million tons. The majority of soybean meal is sent to China, where bean exports have increased by 72%.
