MHP has completed the first stage of harvesting grain crops, as reported by the company's press service.
According to official data, the total harvest amounted to 285 thousand tons of wheat and 125 thousand tons of rapeseed.
"We are pleased with the results obtained. This season we have planted the largest area with wheat (about 40 thousand hectares) and rapeseed (34 thousand hectares) among winter crops. Despite the high temperatures and dry summer, we were able to gather an excellent harvest - 7.2 tons of wheat per hectare and 3.6 tons of rapeseed per hectare. Mustard, which we consider a niche crop, also showed acceptable results - 1.3 tons per hectare," noted Sergey Dobrogorsky, Deputy CEO for Agribusiness at MHP.
In addition, it is noted that modern equipment equipped with precision farming systems was used during the harvesting campaign.
"Furthermore, MHP has already started sowing winter crops for the 2025 harvest," added the press service.
