In Kyrgyzstan, the sowing area is 12 thousand hectares, which is 9 thousand hectares more than a year ago.
In Russia, the current area sown with beets is 334.7 thousand hectares. In the Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts, 271.8 thousand hectares of sowings have already been completed. In the Central District, due to unfavorable weather conditions, only 61.5 thousand hectares have been sown, which is 2.4 times less than last year. In the Volga District, 1.4 thousand hectares have been sown, but mass sowing is expected in the last decade of April, as in the average of the last three years.
