The EU countries have increased their import of vegetable oils from Russia to 4330 tons over the first eight months of the current season.

During the eight-month period from July 2024 to March 2025, the European Union purchased 4330 tons of vegetable oils from Russia, including 2475 tons of rapeseed oil and 1693 tons of sunflower oil. In the previous year, the import volume amounted to 28134 tons.

Over an eight-month period of the current time (from July 2024 to March 2025), European Union countries purchased 4330 tons of vegetable oils from Russia, including 2475 tons of rapeseed and 1693 tons of sunflower. This information was reported by the Grain Online agency, citing data from the European Commission.

The volume of Russian oil imports for a similar period in the previous season reached 28134 tons, including 24399 tons of rapeseed and 3608 tons of sunflower oil.
