"Russia launches a subsidized leasing program for agricultural machinery worth 330 billion rubles until 2030."

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and DOM.RF have launched a leasing program for agricultural machinery worth 330 billion rubles to support domestic manufacturers. The program will allow upgrading 47,000 units of equipment by 2030.

Private investors can purchase DOM.RF bonds worth 10 billion rubles.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, together with the state company DOM.RF, present a program of attractive leasing for agricultural machinery. This anti-crisis measure is developed as an additional instrument to support domestic manufacturers and farmers. A similar program was launched on April 1, 2025, for communal and road construction equipment.

To attract private investments, the subsidiary of DOM.RF issues bonds, and the funds received are allocated to leasing companies for the purchase and subsequent implementation of machinery on preferential terms with the help of a subsidy from the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The total volume of the program until 2030 is 330 billion rubles. This measure allows farmers to acquire agricultural combines, tractors, and trailers on more favorable terms. Regular updating of the fleet of such machinery is a necessary condition for the stable development of Russian agriculture and ensuring the country's food security.

"We plan to update approximately 47,000 units of machinery on farms by 2030 thanks to preferential terms within the program. The budget financing for the next three years for this purpose amounts to over 11 billion rubles. We will also support our leading manufacturers specializing in the production of powerful machinery, including Rostselmash and the Saint Petersburg Tractor Plant. Taking into account the new parameters of program No. 1432 and the decision to recapitalize the "Rosagroleasing" program by 4 billion rubles, all measures of state support evenly cover all segments of the demanded agricultural machinery," said Anton Alikhanov, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

"We are negotiating with regions, and soon we will determine which of them will receive preferential financing for the purchase of machinery in the first place. It is expected that this year the volume of private investments attracted through the issuance of DOM.RF bonds within this program will amount to approximately 10 billion rubles," noted Vitaly Mutko, the CEO of DOM.RF.
