In Bashkortostan, a record harvest of sunflower oilseeds has been collected – 504 thousand tons from an area of 290 thousand hectares. Agricultural enterprises in Bashkortostan harvested a huge crop of sunflower seeds - a total of 504 thousand tons. This is an important raw material for the production of vegetable oil, one of the main food products for the population. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, oilseeds were harvested on an area of ​​almost 290 thousand hectares. The yield was 17.5 quintals per hectare.

The Sterlitamak district showed particularly good results: an impressive amount of gross sunflower seeds - 41 thousand tons was harvested, with a yield exceeding 20 quintals per hectare.

In the Kuyurgazinsky district, 39 thousand tons of sunflower seeds were harvested, and in the Fedorovsky and Davlekanovsky districts - 34 thousand tons each.
