  • The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, despite frosts and drought in some regions, plans to increase gross harvests. According to the agency's estimates, it is planned to obtain a grain harvest of 135 million tons, including 90 million tons of wheat. It is planned to export 53-55 million tons of grain, of which about 45 million tons will account for wheat.
  • The International Grains Council (IGC) in its June report kept the forecast for grain harvest in Russia for the next agricultural year unchanged at 120.6 million tons. The forecast for wheat harvest also remains at 81.7 million tons. Export forecasts have been reduced according to new estimates. Grain export from Russia is projected at 52.3 million tons (-0.3 million compared to the previous forecast). Wheat export is estimated at 43 million tons (-0.3 million).
  • The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) in its June report maintained its previous forecast for wheat production in Russia for the new agricultural year at 83 million tons. The forecast for wheat export from Russia remains unchanged compared to the May report and is estimated at 45 million tons.
  • JSC "Rusagrotrans" suggests that increasing wheat productivity could lead to a harvest of 85 to 90 million tons of this crop by 2025. The total grain harvest in Russia for the 2025/2026 season is expected to be within 132-138 million tons. Despite frosts in April-May and a lack of precipitation in some areas of the South, Central Federal District, and the Volga region, rains in May improved the situation. However, dry conditions have reappeared in the Rostov region, the southwest of the Volga region, and the south of the central regions.
  • The Institute for Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR) forecasts that the total gross harvest of all grain crops in 2025 could reach 131.8 million tons. As a result of the first phase of crop estimation in several regions, analysts raised the wheat harvest forecast from 83.8 million to 84.5 million tons. The wheat harvest estimate has been increased in the Stavropol Krai. At the same time, the wheat harvest estimate in the Rostov region has been reduced. Grain export for the new season is estimated at 55 million tons, and wheat export is forecasted at 42.5 million tons.
  • Analytical company "SovEcon" raised the forecast for wheat production from 82.8 million to 83 million tons. This change reflects the improvement in crop conditions in some regions of Central Russia, especially in the eastern districts and the Voronezh region. At the same time, a sharp reduction in areas allocated for spring wheat in Siberia and the Urals is expected. The forecast for total grain harvest has been raised to 129.5 million tons compared to the May estimate of 127.6 million tons.
  • The company "ProZerno" estimates the grain harvest in 2025 at the level of 130.3 million tons, including new regions - 134.75 million tons. It is planned to harvest 83.2 million tons of wheat.
