Organization "SovEcon" predicts that the export volume of wheat from Russia in the new agricultural year (July 2025 - June 2026) will amount to 36.4 million tons. In comparison to the current year (July 2024 - June 2025), the forecast has been reduced to 43.7 million tons from the previous forecast of 44.1 million tons due to the slow shipment pace and reduced exporters' profit, according to information from "Interfax" agency.

The decrease in the forecast for the next year is explained by the decrease in stocks and the expected decline in the harvest. The forecast for corn exports this season has also been reduced to 2.2 million tons, while the forecast for barley has been increased to 2.8 million tons. The total volume of grain and processed grain products exports has been reduced to 51.6 million tons from the previously expected 52 million tons.
