"Kursk laboratory confirms: the new crop of soybeans meets the GOST 17109-88 standards and is ready for export to Belarus."

More than 33,000 analyses of the new soybean crop at the Kursk branch of the Central Research Institute of Agriculture show compliance with the GOST standards. The protein and moisture content has decreased, while the oil impurity in soybeans has increased. The quality of the products has improved.

The export of soybeans to Belarus is actively expanding.

In the testing laboratory of the Kursk branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "TSOK APK," more than 33,000 analyses of the new harvest soybeans have been conducted in accordance with the requirements of GOST 17109-88 "Soybeans. Requirements for harvesting and delivery." The volume of the tested product amounted to 631,000 tons, and all samples meet the established standards.

"In comparison with the previous year, the content of crude protein and moisture in soybeans has decreased, while the content of oilseed impurities has increased. This indicates an improvement in the quality of the products this year," commented Elena Kolmogorova, the director of the Kursk branch.

Producers of agricultural products in Kursk are actively expanding soybean exports. In the 11 months of 2024, the testing laboratory analyzed 66.5 thousand tons of soybeans intended for shipment to the Republic of Belarus.
