Farmers of the Zabaykalsky Krai have planted almost half of the agricultural crops on an area of 64,000 hectares. Chernyshevsky district is leading with 17.2 thousand hectares. Grain crops cover 28.1 thousand hectares, rapeseed - 30.2 thousand hectares, sunflower - 3.3 thousand hectares, flax - 1.8 thousand hectares. 333 hectares of potatoes have been planted. The plan is fulfilled by 59%. Work is underway in several districts.

Currently, farmers in the region have planted nearly half of the total area of ​​farmland, as reported by the acting head of the regional agriculture department, Alexander Tyukavkin. "Agronomists and farmers in the region have carried out spring field work on an area of ​​64,000 hectares, which is 45% of the planned volume. Currently, spring crops are being sown in 18 municipal formations. The best indicators were demonstrated by the Chernyshevsky district, where 17.2 thousand hectares have been sown. Agricultural producers from the Priargunsky district and Sretensky district have completed sowing on areas of 9.6 thousand hectares and 8.1 thousand hectares, respectively," the acting minister said.

Grain crops have been sown on an area of ​​28.1 thousand hectares. Rapeseed covers 30.2 thousand hectares, sunflower – 3.3 thousand hectares, oil flax – 1.8 thousand hectares.

In addition, vegetable-growing enterprises in the Trans-Baikal Territory continue to plant potatoes. Currently, 333 hectares of this crop have been planted, which is 59% of the planned volume. The work is being carried out in the Chita, Uletovsky, and Mogoytuysky districts.
