Farmers in Kazakhstan have received funding of 293 billion tenge for spring field work from the Agrocredit Corporation.

The Agrocredit Corporation of Kazakhstan has received financing applications for the works of 2025 in the amount of 459 billion tenge. Funding has been approved for 4571 farmers totaling 293 billion tenge. The total amount of financing for Russian farmers this year amounted to 700 billion tenge, attracting 560 billion tenge from market sources. The interest rate is 5%, with a term until March 1, 2026.

The "Damu" Fund provided a guarantee for 85% of the loan. KazAgroFinance leased equipment for 45.4 billion tenge.

By the deadline of April 18, the Agrocredit Corporation of Kazakhstan received a range of applications for financing spring field and harvesting works in 2025 totaling 459 billion tenge, submitted by 6,816 agricultural producers. From this pool, 4,571 farmers were selected and sequentially financed, receiving a total of 293 billion tenge. This information was provided directly by the Agrocredit Corporation.

It is worth noting that approximately 700 billion tenge was allocated for financing in this area this year (more than 2 times higher than last year). Among these funds, 560 billion tenge were attracted from market capital sources. Farmers were offered an interest rate of 5% and a repayment term until March 1, 2026. For farmers lacking collateral, the "Damu" Fund provided a guarantee for 85% of the loan amount.

Additionally, JSC KazAgroFinance has already signed leasing contracts totaling 45.4 billion tenge for the acquisition of around 2,500 units of equipment. This amount includes 2,000 units of planting equipment and machinery totaling 36.5 billion tenge, as well as harvesting equipment worth about 9 billion tenge (453 units).
