The expansion of export of goods was successful thanks to the following product groups: grain crops, as well as products of the fat and dairy industries.

Dairy products, primarily butter, constitute the main share of exports. Regarding grain crops, barley and oats are the main exported goods. In the fat industry category, margarine holds the leading position.

Igor Kobzev, the Governor of the Irkutsk region, noted that expanding the export volumes of agro-industrial products of the Angara region is one of the important tasks within the regional project "Export of Agricultural Products," which is part of the national project "International Cooperation and Export" initiated by President Vladimir Putin.

Marina Kozharina, the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Irkutsk region, reported that the products of the region's agro-industrial complex are in high demand on the international market due to their high quality.

Currently, there are more than 20 export organizations operating in the region, offering a variety of products in foreign markets. The geography of supplies of agro-industrial products from the Angara region to over 30 countries includes China, Mongolia, and Korea among the most demanded countries in East Asia.
