In April 2025, Arkadiy Chebanov failed to challenge the forgiveness of a debt in the amount of 252 million rubles (almost 3.05 million dollars) and ended the fight for the assets of the "Timashevsky Sugar Plant." The court declared Chebanov's lawsuit, signed by his mother Tamara Chebanova, invalid and even noted a possible dishonesty of the plaintiff. Since the transfer of the plant's assets to state ownership in November 2023, as reported by Abireg.

Earlier, Chebanov had already lost legal battles in 2023 and 2024 on the same claims. The Labinsk city court found that 100% of the plant's shares were acquired in violation of anti-corruption legislation.

The "Timashevsky Sugar Plant" is engaged in sugar production. In 2024, the enterprise's revenue amounted to 1.8 billion rubles (approximately 21.8 million dollars), net profit was 85 million rubles (approximately 1 million dollars), and the balance sheet total was 3.1 billion rubles (approximately 37.6 million dollars). The current owner of the enterprise is the Federal Property Management Agency (100%).
