Prices for sunflower seeds in Russia have decreased by 0.02% and currently amount to 28.9 thousand rubles. Prices also vary in different parts of the country. In the southern regions, the average price per ton without VAT is 27.2 thousand rubles, in the Central region - 29.4 thousand rubles, and in the Volga region - 29.7 thousand rubles.
The average price for corn has increased by 0.7% and is now 11.6 thousand rubles. In the southern regions, it is 12.4 thousand rubles without VAT, in the Volga Federal District - 10.5 thousand rubles, and in the Central Federal District - 10.6 thousand rubles.
Soybeans are priced on average in Russia at 35.2 thousand rubles, with the lowest price in the North Caucasus Federal District at 27.0 thousand rubles without VAT. In the Central region, the price is 37.0 thousand rubles, and in the Far East - 34.3 thousand rubles.
Rapeseed prices average 32.0 thousand rubles in Russia. The lowest price is in the North Caucasus Federal District at 17.8 thousand rubles without VAT. In the Central region, the current price is 32.0 thousand rubles, and in Siberia - 34.2 thousand rubles.
Global prices for agricultural products have also dropped. The price of sunflower seeds decreased by 1.3% (to 507.4 $/ton, FOB France), corn - by 2.9% (183.4 $/ton, FOB Argentina), soybeans - by 4.1% (411.0 $/ton, FOB Brazil), and rapeseed - by 2.3% (516.2 $/ton, FOB France).
As of August 1, harvesting has been carried out on an area of 19.2 million hectares.
