In Chuvashia, the harvest of 99.5% of grain on 275 thousand hectares has been successfully completed. The yield was 28.1 c/ha, with a total of 773.9 thousand tons of grain harvested.

The price for potatoes and vegetables is 16.38 rub/kg. Social institutions need 2,000 tons of potatoes and 1,500 tons of vegetables from 2024 to 2025. Deliveries continue according to the schedule.

When sowing winter crops, only high-quality seeds tested in the interdistrict laboratory of the Rosselkhozcenter are used. Agricultural producers receive recommendations on sowing, field treatment, and fertilization. Farmers choose domestic varieties such as Yuka, Graf, Grom, and Tanya, known for their high yields, resistance, and quality.

In September, 22.8 thousand hectares were harvested with a yield of 438 c/ha. The plants processed 141 thousand tons, extracted 17 thousand tons of sugar, with Raevsugar in the lead. Chishmin plant will increase production by 25%.

Mustabshaykh Sadykov from the company "NPSP Vozrozhdenie" is pleased to announce that scientists from the All-Russian Research Institute of Sheep Breeding visited his farm. Alexander Surov showed interest in the Lacon sheep breed and estimated the productivity to be up to 400 liters of milk per lactation. Collaboration to increase milk production on the farm is planned.

In the Stavropol region, more than 60% of sugar beets have been harvested. The yield of 384 tons per hectare is slightly lower due to drought. In 40 farms on 36,000 hectares, sugar beets are grown with a yield of up to 600 tons per hectare and a sugar content of 17%.

The "Stavropolsakhar" plant processes 5200 tons of beets per day and plans to increase this amount to 8000 tons after modernization.

In rural areas, more than 1.2 million tons of silage and 595 thousand tons of hay have been harvested. Silage-making is still ongoing, with 640.7 thousand tons already processed. The largest amount of silage has been harvested in the Aurgazinsky, Ilishievsky, Tatishlinsky, Dyurtyulinsky, Sterlitamaksky, and Chekmagushevsky districts.

In September, the region harvested 96.2 thousand tons of sunflower from an area of 66.5 thousand hectares.

The highest crop yields were achieved on the farms of Belyaevsky district - 25.0 c/ha, followed by Northern district (23.3 c/ha) in second place, and Kurmanayevsky district (20.0 c/ha) in third.

A study by scientists has shown that a portion of the milk is lost due to inadequate purification. Nexus company has developed a spectrometer for monitoring the composition and purification process of milk, which will help reduce CO2 emissions in production. The new technology may be useful not only in dairy plants.

In EU agriculture, viticulture is suffering from climate change. The VINNY project, funded by the EU with 8.3 million euros, is developing biological alternatives to replace synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. An experimental vineyard is being created to test new solutions.
