Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Agriculture of Crimea, Lyudmila Radchenko, announced that the grain harvest will amount to 1.1 million tons, covering the region's annual needs. Despite partial losses due to frost and drought, the yield is expected to be high thanks to fields with a steam predecessor.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of India, rice sowing has increased by 58% reaching 3.5 million hectares. Oilseeds were sown on 4.9 million hectares (+20%) and pulses on 2.1 million hectares (+37%). High yields are expected due to good rains. Potato and soybean harvests are also expected to be record-breaking.
BMI Fitch Solutions forecasts the average annual price of CPO in Bursa Malaysia to reach 4150 ringgits per ton by 2025. Prices for palm oil in the range of 3800-4000 ringgits are expected by the end of 2025. The level of palm oil production in Malaysia is expected to reach 19.5 million tons in 2025/2026.
