8 contracts for white sugar were sold on the National Commodity Exchange and 1 contract on SPbMTSB. The maximum trading price was 57000 rubles/ton on SPbMTSB and 56800 rubles/ton on NCE.

State crop quality monitoring of the 2024 harvest in the Orenburg branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "TSOK APK" has been successfully completed. A total of 2.9 million tons of grain were examined, with over 64,000 tests conducted.

Results:

• Soft wheat - 37.6% third grade, 32.2% fourth grade, 27.7% fifth grade;
• Hard wheat - 29.6% third grade, 44.2% fourth grade, 24.8% fifth grade.

More than half of the sunflower crop in the Altai Territory has been tested, with 58.3% of the seeds being of grades 1 and 2, and 41.2% of grade 3. In the Krasnoshchekovsky and Kurinsky districts, more than half are of the highest quality.

In 2024, the export of sunflower from the region exceeded 168,000 tons, with the main importer being Kazakhstan. 33.7 thousand tons of kernels were shipped to China and Belarus.

The Branch of the Holding "Tavros" will not pay dividends for the first 9 months of 2024 due to financial difficulties. Dividends of 1.9 thousand rubles per share will be redirected to finance other companies in the holding. Minority shareholders can expect payments in January 2025 after the funds are reserved.

In Krasnodar region, sugar beet yield has decreased from 552 to 352 c/ha. In Voronezh region, 27 thousand hectares were replanted due to frosts, resulting in a yield of 389 c/ha. In Kursk, 4.4 million tons were harvested with a yield of 450 c/ha. Lipetsk region obtained 4.1 million tons due to frosts and drought. Orel region increased the yield by 57 thousand tons, while Tambov region harvested 4.5 million tons.

In the Rostov Region, due to lack of rains, less than 10% of winter crops have already sprouted for the 2025 harvest, while the rest are at the tillering stage due to lack of moisture in the soil. Authorities are considering support options for agricultural producers in case of crop failure. This year, due to drought, farmers lost 50,000 hectares of crops, resulting in damage worth 5 billion rubles.

There was a stable situation in the sugar market: demand remained low, prices hardly changed. Production decreased due to the decline in the quality of sugar beets, however, there is still a surplus. Sugar and raw sugar exports decreased, while imports were cut by a third. The shortage of distillers grains supply to China affected the overall export volume.

In 2024, in the Altai region, 8.4 million tons of grain and leguminous crops were harvested, including record yields for oilseeds, spring wheat, oats, and barley. The harvest included 3.4 million tons of spring wheat, over 740 thousand tons of buckwheat, over 530 thousand tons of barley, over 440 thousand tons of oats, and over 150 thousand tons of lentils.

The time for late autumn sowings of crops, including sorrel, is coming to an end. This plant is rich in vitamins and minerals that help maintain health. Growing sorrel does not require much effort, and its stratification allows you to get fresh greens earlier than other plants in the season.

At the conference, the importance of developing biopesticides and biofertilizers in agriculture was discussed. Putin is launching the National Project "Bioeconomy" to achieve technological leadership and enter world markets.

Russia is preparing to increase the production of biofertilizers and biopesticides to enhance competitiveness and food security.

In 10 months of 2024, the Rostov region exported 3.04 million tons of wheat, which is 11% more than the previous year. The exported products went to Turkey, Egypt, Greece, and Albania.
