The question of grain supplies and the grain corridor will be discussed at the meeting of the National Security Council of Turkey scheduled for August 9. This meeting will be chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, citing a source in the Turkish leader's office.

According to the agency's source, the meeting scheduled for Wednesday will discuss the issue of discontinuing grain supplies after Russia's exit from the grain deal, as well as measures taken to combat terrorism and the situation in Ukraine.

Furthermore, on Monday in Ankara, a meeting of the Council of Ministers was held under the chairmanship of Erdogan, where issues related to the grain deal were also discussed, as well as a possible visit by the Russian leader Vladimir Putin to Turkey.
