According to statistics, in December of the previous year, fertilizer production increased by 8.5% compared to the previous year and by 8.2% compared to the following month, reaching 2.6 million tons. It is worth noting that the production of ammonia also increased by 5.2% over the year, reaching 18.2 million tons, and in December 2024, it increased by 9.7% compared to December 2023 and by 11.2% compared to November 2024, reaching 1.7 million tons.
In the end of 2023, mineral fertilizer production in Russia increased by 10.3%, reaching 26 million tons calculated at 100% nutrient content.
