The Trans-Baikal Region has been granted permission to export rapeseed to China until 2028. This was announced by the head of the region's Ministry of Agriculture, Denis Bochkarev, during a live broadcast on the GTRK "Chita" TV channel.
The Trans-Baikal Region has become one of two Russian regions allocated quotas for the supply of rapeseed and sunflower seeds to China until 2028. This decision aims to stimulate the expansion of production of these crops, the minister noted.
It is worth reminding that last year, farmers in the region were allocated additional space for growing rapeseed, specifically 13.5 thousand hectares. This figure is twice the previous year. As a result, the gross yield productivity almost five times exceeded the level of 2023 and amounted to 17.3 thousand tons.
