Demand for automotive fuel in the domestic market is currently being met by supply, according to the Ministry of Energy with reference to Interfax.
The volume of gasoline supplies to the domestic market currently exceeds last year's level by 5%, and diesel fuel by 8%. In addition, there are sufficient commodity reserves to meet domestic demand.
The government is taking necessary measures to ensure its sustainability, increasing the volume of fuel sales on the exchange, and improving the situation with the delivery of oil products by rail, emphasized the Ministry.
In addition, as of August 1, a temporary ban on gasoline exports was reintroduced, which will further saturate the domestic market, as reminded by the Ministry of Energy.
