The Minister of Trade and Industry of Mali, Moussa Alasan Diallo, announced that supplies from Russia account for 40% of the total volume of wheat imports into the country.
In addition to fuel and fertilizers, Mali also actively imports agricultural products, including wheat. The share of Russian wheat in the overall imports is about 40%.
However, Mali is also aiming to develop its agricultural industry and start exporting its own products to the Russian market. Currently, the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Mali is actively pursuing this goal, taking all necessary steps.
"We would like to export various types of agricultural products to Russia, such as cotton, sesame, cashew nuts, and mango. The Ministry of Trade and Industry of Mali is actively working on these product varieties," added the minister.
