Dmitry Patrushev noted that the Lipetsk region constantly holds leading positions in the development of the agro-industrial complex. This region took first place in Russia in the production of vegetables in closed ground in agricultural organizations, as well as in potato processing.
Igor Artamonov, in turn, spoke about the great attractiveness of the Lipetsk region for investors. From 2019 to 2024, the volume of investments exceeded 200 billion rubles, leading to the creation of over 4 thousand jobs. In addition, the export of agricultural products from the region has grown 2.5 times since 2019, allowing the region to rank among the top ten subjects of the Russian Federation in terms of export volume of the agro-industrial complex products.
The meeting discussed issues in the field of education. In the Lipetsk region, there are 18 agricultural classes, and 80% of graduates from these classes enroll in agricultural universities and colleges.
Also, the region opened the first "Agroquarantine" in Russia, where young people can familiarize themselves with agricultural machinery.
The meeting paid attention to issues of environmental management. The Lipetsk region has successfully implemented all activities of the national project "Ecology" and has achieved positive results in the field of solid waste management: 53% of such waste is processed at special facilities.
