The quality control of grain in the Novosibirsk region has been completed, where two-thirds of the wheat crop belongs to grades 3 and 4. This information was reported by Andrey Shindelov, the deputy chairman of the government and minister of agriculture of the region. He provided his reports to Interfax.
"Last week, we completed a full check, analyzing 3240 samples. We received the following assessment: 22.4% of the grain belongs to grade 3, 41% to grade 4, and 35% to grade 5. These are the wheat quality monitoring data," Shindelov said.
According to the report of the regional Ministry of Agriculture, in 2024 the wheat harvest amounted to 1,570,393.9 tons, compared to 1,487,142.3 tons in the previous year.
