It is worth noting that the Chishmin Breeding Center of the Bashkir Research Institute of Agriculture of Ural Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences and the testing laboratory of the Bashkir branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VNIIZZH" conducted trials of Turkish varieties of grain and leguminous crops. However, according to Bashkir experts, these varieties significantly lagged behind Russian and, in particular, local varieties in all characteristics.
After getting acquainted with the experimental varieties of crops in the fields of the Chishmin Breeding Center, the participants of the seminar visited the Bashkir testing laboratory of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VNIIZZH".
The specialists of the branch provided detailed information about the new federal law "On Seed Breeding" and the procedures for sending grain for state monitoring.
The heads of seed farms were provided with information about the goals and scheme of the crop monitoring in 2024. All participants received materials about the laboratory work and the upcoming state grain monitoring. The seminar ended with a tour of the laboratory, where the guests saw modern equipment - both Russian and imported - for the analysis of agricultural products.
