According to the results of the first 26 days of February, an increase in grain transportation from Ukraine to Slovakia was observed, while the number of shipments at the borders with Poland, Romania, and Hungary decreased. This information was provided by the deputy director of the Department of Transportation Technology and Commercial Operations of PJSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" Valeriy Tkachev.
"The average daily volume of grain transportation in February towards Slovakia increased by 11.1 wagons per day, reaching 34.6 wagons per day," the expert clarified.
The average daily volume of grain transportation across the border with Poland this month decreased to 25.7 wagons per day. This is 13.3 wagons less than in January.
Grain wagon transportation across the borders with Hungary also decreased by 10.52 wagons, to 25.7 wagons per day, and with Romania by 3.8 wagons, to 4.5 wagons per day.
The total average daily volume of grain and feed transportation is 165 wagons. Since the beginning of February, this indicator has decreased by 7 wagons per day.
