Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, announced that an initiative by Tayyip Erdogan, the leader of Turkey, to provide free shipments of flour made from Russian grain to countries in need, has been worked out.
During the fuel delivery ceremony to the "Akkuyu" nuclear power plant, which took place on Thursday, Putin noted that the expansion of cooperation with Turkey in agriculture has been agreed upon, including establishing mutual supply of agro-industrial products and coordinating on matters of international food security.
The President also emphasized that currently Erdogan's initiative to send flour free of charge to the most needy countries is under consideration. The flour will be produced by the Turkish flour industry from Russian grain supplied by Russia.
